Recently back from Paris and a few days to Thailand and I’m excited to have a photo diary vomit on this page but I’m trying to go by chronological order haha it will have to wait.

So, a few weeks after the Bali trip, at the end of June 2014, my family/relatives (yes, you could expect a full boat) decided to boat around Perhentian Islands. A super laid-back resort area, crystal clear green pools and best of it all, a pretty inexpensive area/vacation. If anyone’s planning to venture around that area anytime soon, I’d suggest visiting both Pulau Perhentian Kecil & Pulau Perhentian Besar but particularly the latter because- TURTLES. I’m also fully convinced that life is better at sea: right under the sun, endless skies & the timelessness under water. One of my favourite parts about boating trips are the night rides. Just imagine an almost pitch black panorama, tiny lights in the far distance above the black waters, the sound of the salty wind and occasional chilly splashes. It’s almost like a storm on board where you can hardly stand, all you can do is sit by and watch. A really fun and memorable trip (also because our midnight flight was delayed and I almost didn’t make it in time for school the next day).

If anyone’s wondering, I used Nikon Coolpix AW120 for the underwater photos. Can I just say that it is superb!!! Great quality photos/Video recording/built-in wifi (which makes it easy breezy for uploading pictures whilst travelling).

Hope everyone’s December is going swell!
